Peter has spent 20 years helping leaders grow, develop the people around them, and build healthy cultures and teams. He has led staff, program leaders, and organizations to build leadership capacity, strengthen character, and make a meaningful impact on the people around them.
In his career, he led a large-scale next generation development division, overseeing programs spanning birth through college, a staff of 17, and a volunteer structure of 700+, and growing one initiative 6x in three years. Along the way, he built a pipeline of leaders who went on to lead others.
Over those same 20 years, Peter has spoken to audiences of every size, from small group settings to large conference stages, including four years speaking at camps and conferences across the country. He's learned to make complex ideas land with diverse audiences, whether the room holds ten people or a thousand.
A big part of that work has centered on Gen Z. Peter understands the real challenges leaders face developing younger employees, and he understands what younger employees actually need to trust a leader and stay. He works the space between those two realities, building the clarity, feedback, and culture that let both sides succeed. Leaders get a team that performs. Gen Z gets a workplace where they're actually known.
People who have worked alongside Peter tend to say the same thing. They grew because he was in the room. He has built programs that scaled from small groups to a 1,000 person event, but never let anyone feel like a number inside the system. Those who know him best point to a consistent pattern. He develops leaders who go on to lead others. He stays steady when things get hard. And everyone who meets him leaves a little better for it.
Today, Peter works as an organizational development consultant and coach, helping organizations of any size develop their people and their teams. He brings that approach to Pizzuto Leadership Partners, using an inside-out methodology: developing who a leader is being before addressing what they're doing. He also serves as a Coaching Sherpa with The Management Sherpa, currently coaching inside the Chick-fil-A franchise and guiding leaders and organizations toward stronger teams, healthier cultures, and better execution.
